Whew! A month of school has already flown by! I am having a blast teaching the fifth grade music class. We have had a lot of fun reviewing rhythms by playing "rhythm baseball".  Next week the students will create another game to really get those note values in their heads! Don't be surprised if your fifth grader comes home and starts tapping out rhythms on the furniture!

We have been busy bees in PA..... sixth graders will begin writing their own radio shows next week, seventh graders will present their power points, and 8th graders will start with improvisation! It's never dull in the performing arts room! Stop by and visit any time!
